The Water Reuse and Surface Water Management Technical Committee study trip of the National Lift Tower in Northampton.

The Tower is home to the largest gravity test facility in the world - a partnership between Studor and Polypipe Terrain. This site demonstrates the effect of drainage within tall towers and innovation to assist with the important challenges that correctly designed and working drainage systems require. The tower has also acted as research for Heriot Watt University with regards to drainage performance that is as much about air and acoustics, as it is water.
